Frederick John Norton
Frederick John Norton ( 1904 - February 28, 1986 ) was a British librarian, Romanist and Hispanist .
Life
Norton studied in Cambridge and in Spain. He was a librarian at Cambridge University Library from 1930 to 1972 . In 1966 he became a Fellow of University College (Cambridge), and in 1970 Reader in Bibliography.
Norten was a bearer of the order of Alfonso X the Wise (Grand Cross).
