Frederick Polydore Nodder (about 1770 to about 1800) was an English plant - and animal - Illustrator , from whose hand important works for the early natural history of Australia originate.
He illustrated George Shaw's periodical The Naturalist's Miscellany and worked with Joseph Banks Banks' Florilegium for which he adapted most of Sydney Parkinson's Australian plant drawings in prints. Also known are Nodder's drawings and prints of Australian birds and butterflies for the Science Department of the National Museum of Ireland.
