Frederick Tutu Goodwin
Sir Frederick Tutu Goodwin KBE JP is the current Representative of the Queen of New Zealand, Elizabeth II , in the Cook Islands .
He has been the Queen's Representative since February 9, 2001 . On June 12, 2004, Goodwin was named Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire .
Goodwin began police training in 1956 and was superintendent in 1974 as superintendent of security during the Queen's visit to Rarotonga to mark the opening of the airport. Later, he was more than twenty years as head of the Public Service (Public Service Commissioner). 1978-1983 he was a member of the 24-member Parliament and Secretary of State (assistant minister) in the Ministry of Energy and Labor; In 1991 he became a magistrate (justice of the peace) appointed.
