Freibierotto is a party hit of the village rockers from 2014. In the run-up to the release of the music video with Micaela Schäfer , a controversial press photo caused a media stir , which Schäfer shows partially bare in the Catholic Church of Fabrikschleichach in Bavaria .
Song content
Otto has a new stepmother who is 32 and is popular with men. Since only Otto's father is allowed to sleep with her, Otto consoles her with free beer from his mother's brewery.
Background information
The music video shows Otto drinking beer with the village rockers and the latter joining Otto's stepmother, who is always dressed in lingerie. However, she fends off every attempt by the village rockers and only goes to bed with Otto's father.
The music video was shot in the Bavarian village of Rauhenebrach in the Fabrikschleichach part of the village. Furthermore, recordings are said to have been made in the Catholic Church of Fabrikschleichach in which Micaela Schäfer can be seen almost naked. However, these scenes cannot be seen in the video.
In the run-up to the publication of the video on Facebook, Micaela Schäfer published a photo in which she is only wearing a slip being lifted by the village rockers in front of the altar of the Catholic Church in Fabrikschleichach. The photo caused angry reactions in the village and was presented as a big lead in the press, including in the newspaper Bild .
The diocese of Würzburg checked whether a complaint was possible because religious feelings would be hurt and the peace of the place was disturbed. According to Section 167 (2) of the Criminal Code, this would not be unfounded, as insulting nonsense could be used here.
In the meantime, the village rockers have apologized to the local pastor for the photo taken and announced a church concert. Micaela Schäfer said:
“ I think the good Lord didn't mind and maybe even was a little happy. Otherwise he would have sent me a token of his disapproval. Maybe I sinned by going naked in church. But I don't mind that at some point I won't go to heaven, but to hell. I'm an atheist, but of course I respect the religious feelings of my fellow human beings. I don't think it's bad to show yourself naked in a church, though. The babies at baptism are also naked and we are all born naked. The church should know that. "
