Le Titre ( Picard : Él Tite ) is a northern French municipality with 358 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Abbeville-1 .

geography

The municipality is located on the former Route nationale 1 about 2.5 kilometers southeast of Nouvion and nine kilometers north-northwest of Abbeville .

history

Flint tools and Roman pottery were found in the village. In the corridor of La Garenne there was a feudal castle from the 10th century, the remains of which were excavated in 1899.
