Chépy (also Chepy; Picard : Chpy ) is a northern French municipality with 1252 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes du Vimeu and the canton of Gamaches .

geography

The municipality in Vimeu , whose territory is touched in the north by the railway line from Abbeville to Eu , is about eight kilometers east of Friville-Escarbotin . In addition to the eponymous town, it includes the district of Monchaux and the Acheux-Franleu train station. Chépy also has a breakpoint.
