Béthencourt-sur-Mer ( Picard : Bétincourt-su-Mér ) is a northern French municipality with 968 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes du Vimeu and the canton of Friville-Escarbotin .

geography

The community on the edge of the Vimeu plateau is about five kilometers southeast of Ault and connects to Tully to the west ; it lies between the former Route nationale 25 in the south and the municipality of Allenay in the north.
