Millencourt-en-Ponthieu ( Picard : Milincourt-in-Pontiu ) is a northern French municipality with 359 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Abbeville-1 .

geography

Agenvillers is located in the Ponthieu about seven kilometers northeast of Abbeville . To the east of the municipality is the Les Carolines settlement.

history

In 1554 Millencourt was burned down by the Duke of Savoy. Like many places in Ponthieu, the village was sacked and burned by Spanish troops in 1635.
