Ergnies ( Picard : Arni ) is a northern French municipality with 180 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Rue .

geography

The municipality is located around three kilometers east of Ailly-le-Haut-Clocher and eight kilometers west of Domart-en-Ponthieu . The round structure of the village suggests that in the Middle Ages it was only under the control of the Count of Ponthieu .

history

Before the French Revolution , the rule was with the Celestine monks from Amiens .
