Buigny-lès-Gamaches ( Picard : Boégny-lès-Gamache ) is a northern French municipality with 414 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the canton of Gamaches .

geography

The community is located in Vimeu around five kilometers north of Gamaches . A section of the Chaussée Brunehaut system runs through the southern part of the municipality .

history

At the present-day farms Ferme du Petit Selve and Ferme du Grand Selve there was a Templar settlement named 1137 , of which remains are still there.
