Lamotte-Buleux ( Picard : L'Motte-Buleux ) is a northern commune with 352 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Somme department in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Abbeville-1 .

geography

The community on the D32 département road from Nouvion to Saint-Riquier is located in Ponthieu south of the Forêt Domaniale de Crécy, around twelve kilometers north of Abbeville and 4.5 km southeast of Nouvion. The place was on the former railway line from Dompierre-sur-Authie to Abbeville (see the group of buildings La Gare).

history

The place was dependent on the command of the Templars . The place was burned down by Spanish troops from 1635. In the 18th century the domain belonged to the Duchesne de Courcelles family.
