Brutelles ( Picard : Brut Elle ) is a northern French municipality with 207 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the canton of Friville-Escarbotin .
geography
The municipality is located about two kilometers east of the English Channel coast , about ten kilometers southwest of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and seven kilometers northeast of Ault . The district of Le Hamel is directly connected to Brutelles.

In the 15th century the place was called Broutelles-Notre-Dame.
