Dompierre-sur-Authie ( Picard : Dompierre-su-Eutie ) is a northern French municipality with 401 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Rue .

geography

The municipality extends on both banks of the Authie river with the districts Rapéchy on the northern bank, Voisin on the southern bank above the town center and Le Hamel on the border with the neighboring municipality of Ponches-Estruval , where a section of the Chaussée Brunehaut meets the Authie. In the south of the municipality is the hamlet of Wadicourt . Until 1951, the place was the end point of a meter-gauge railway of the Réseau des Bains de Mer , which came from Abbeville .
