Neuilly-l'Hôpital ( Picard : Neuly-l'Hôpital ) is a northern French municipality with 323 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Abbeville-1 .
geography
The community is located in Ponthieu on the D32 departmental road, which leads from Nouvion, around 8.5 km away, to Saint-Riquier and is crossed just west of the center by the D928 departmental road from Abbeville to Hesdin . The isolated farm Le Halloy belongs to the municipality.
Toponymy and History
The place is mentioned in 1302 as Nigella hospitalis; the addition goes back to belonging to the Saint-Riquier hospital .
