Feuquières-en-Vimeu ( Picard : Feutchére-in-Vimeu ) is a northern French municipality with 2570 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes du Vimeu and the canton of Gamaches .
geography
The heavily industrialized community in Vimeu , whose area is traversed in an east-west direction by the railway line from Abbeville to Eu (with two stops on the municipality), is located around five kilometers east-southeast of Friville-Escarbotin . The industrial areas are mainly on both sides of the railway line towards Fressenneville (Zone d'Activités du Vimeu Industriel and Zone d'Activités du Moulin).
