The Communauté de communes du Vimeu is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . It was founded on January 1, 2017 and comprises 25 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Friville-Escarbotin .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 from the merger of the predecessor organizations

With effect from January 1, 2018, the municipality of Saint-Maxent left the local association and switched to the Communauté de communes interrégionale Aumale Blangy-sur-Bresle .
