Bussus-Bussuel ( Picard : buchu Buchuel ) is a northern French municipality with 297 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Rue .

geography

The community on the plateau of Ponthieu is located in a dry valley about five kilometers east-southeast of Saint-Riquier and three kilometers north of Ailly-le-Haut-Clocher .

history

The parish, first mentioned in 704, was under the Abbey of Saint-Riquier . The place used to have a church together with Yaucourt-Bussus , which has now disappeared.
