Froyelles ( Picard : Freuyelle ) is a northern French municipality with 105 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Rue .

The municipality is located around 4.5 kilometers south-east of Crécy-en-Ponthieu . The commune includes the La Hayette and Le Préel farms .
history
The place was one of the scenes of the Battle of Crécy in the Hundred Years War . In 1567 the rule belonged to the Count of Saisseval .
