Buigny-l'Abbé ( Picard : Boégny-l'Abé ) is a northern French municipality with 311 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Rue .

geography

The community is located around three kilometers south of Saint-Riquier and five kilometers west-northwest of Ailly-le-Haut-Clocher . It is bounded in the south by the former Route nationale 35 . The A16 autoroute runs just south of the municipality.

Finds prove a settlement in the Gallo-Roman and early Franconian times.
