Agenvillers ( Picard : Ginvilé ) is a northern French municipality with 228 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the Communauté de communes Ponthieu-Marquenterre and the canton of Abbeville-1 .

Agenvillers is located in Ponthieu on the D82 departmental road and mostly to the west of the D12 departmental road, which leads from Saint-Riquier, around six kilometers away , to Crécy-en-Ponthieu , ten kilometers away .
Toponymy and History
The place was called Argovillare in 845. In 1635 it was burned down by Spanish troops. The hamlet of Hellencourt was incorporated into Domvast in 1951 at the request of its residents . Just outside the municipality, the Wehrmacht set up a missile launching base in the Domvast area during World War II .
