Freiburg Science Forum

The Freiburg Science Forum (FWF) is an association founded in 2005 to promote scientific innovation in the economy and in particular start- ups . The current chairperson of the forum is Gisela Riescher .

For this purpose, the forum mediates contacts between scientific institutions and companies in the Freiburg region. It also leads market research and other expert studies as well as the preparation of expert reports.

Part of the FWF is the Campus Technologies Oberrhein (CTO) , which promotes business start-ups by university members, in particular the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg and the Offenburg and Furtwangen universities of applied sciences .
