Šiauliai Free Economic Zone

The Free Trade Zone Šiauliai (lit. Šiaulių Laisvoji ekonominė zona , Šiaulių LEZ ) is a spatially delimited geographical area of 218 hectares in the Šiauliai District Municipality in Lithuania , for legal and administrative facilities for investors consist ( SEZ ). The free economic zone was first established in July 1996 on an area of ​​450 ha and liquidated in 2002. The zone was re-established in December 2011 on the basis of the law on the Šiauliai Free Economic Zone in the former Šiauliai Business Park for 49 years.
