Lithuania Freedom Prize

The Freedom Prize (lit. Laisvės premija ) is an award for human rights in Lithuania . It was founded on September 1, 2011 by the Lithuanian Parliament ( Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas ). The award aims to promote the achievements and contributions of individuals and organizations for the protection of human rights, the development of democracy, and cross-border cooperation in the struggle for the free determination and sovereignty of the peoples of Eastern and Central Europe . The price is on January 13 in the Seimas submitted.
