nature

The intersection is two-circle, 1,410 meters long and has a clearance height of around 60 meters (currently not exactly determinable). The overhead line crossing is supported by three steel lattice masts.

The crossing begins at the ferry port of Klaipeda, after 670 meters the central mast is on the island of Kiaulès nugara ( German  pig back ) and the landing mast on the spit after another 740 meters. On the spit, the line branches 6 kilometers to the "Süderspitze" and 40 kilometers to Nida ( German:  Nidden ). These lines run in a forest aisle behind the dunes parallel to the Baltic coast. The line supplies the Lithuanian part of the spit up to the border of the Kaliningrad region ( Königsberg in German  ).
