The Scherzenmühle open-air museum is an open-air museum operated by the Fichtelgebirgsverein in Markt Weidenberg in Upper Franconia in the Bayreuth district . The listed Scherzenmühle is a functional grain mill in historical rooms with folklore inventory.

The Fichtelgebirgsverein, local group Weidenberg, took over the dilapidated mill in 1986 and carried out a comprehensive renovation. The mill has been open to visitors since 1991. In addition to the regular opening times, parties and events take place in the mill. During foam grinding, one can observe the overshot water wheel and the attached mechanics for the production of wholemeal flour . Former stables are connected to the main building, behind the mill there is a barn in which mainly agricultural equipment is on display.
