Friedel Durben

Friedel Durben (* 1965 ) is a German police officer . Since October 2014 he has been the head of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police College .

Life

Friedel Durben joined the police in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in 1981.

After several positions in individual police service, he studied for the senior police service and became a specialist teacher in the fields of criminal law, criminal procedural law, administrative offense law and police law.

He later worked in the area of ​​the Koblenz police headquarters, most recently in the management staff.

After completing his studies in the higher police service in Münster-Hiltrup in 2000, he worked in the situation center of the Ministry of the Interior of Rhineland-Palatinate and as a lecturer on the Hahn campus of the Police University.

In addition to performing various tasks at the police authorities of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, he spent nine and a half years in the police department of the Ministry of the Interior and, as the responsible officer and deputy head of department, played a key role in the strategic development of training and further education as well as professional and professional sports.

Friedel Durben was then director of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police College on the Hahn campus.
