The Rhineland-Palatinate Police University is a state university founded in 2015 in the State of Rhineland-Palatinate . It is used to train the members of the Rhineland-Palatinate police force .

Locations

The Hahn campus in Büchenbeuren , Scheid district and the two locations in Wittlich-Wengerohr and Enkenbach-Alsenborn employ around 300 people.

More than 1200 police officers are currently studying at the Police College.

history

The training of the higher service of the police was carried out until January 31, 2015 at the police department of the college for public administration Rhineland-Palatinate at the airport Frankfurt-Hahn . On February 1, 2015, the Police Department was spun off and an independent university, the Rhineland-Palatinate Police University, was founded.
