The University for Public Service in Bavaria ( HföD ) is a university of applied sciences for public administration in the Free State of Bavaria , which is subordinate to the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Homeland .

history

By 2003, Bavarian officials Fachhochschule ( BFH ), 2016 College of Public Administration and Justice in Bavaria ( BayFHVR named), the HföD is to provide expert training of officials of the Advertisement of service and the training of officials of Advertisements and higher service . While the administration of the University of Applied Sciences is based in Munich , the departments are spread across Bavaria. The University of Applied Sciences was established as such in 1974 in order to take account of the reorganization of civil servant training in the upper service. A large new campus was built in Hof for the administrative branch, while buildings from the previous institutions such as the Starnberg Legal Care School and parts of the Police School in Fürstenfeldbruck and the Finance School in Herrsching were taken over for other departments. The diploma courses are organized as dual courses in which internships are to be completed at various offices outside of the lecture period. In 2018, new premises were built and moved into in Hof.
