Friedrich Quack

Friedrich Rudolf Quack (born September 22, 1934 in Bad Wimpfen ; † February 2, 2014 in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen ) was a German lawyer and university professor . From 1982 to 1999 he was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

After completing his legal training, Quack joined the judicial service of the Free State of Bavaria in 1963 , where he worked in various positions at the public prosecutor's office, the Bavarian Ministry of Justice and as a judge at the Munich District Court .

In 1973 he took over the management of the Bavarian Rechtspflegerschule , in 1977 he was appointed director of the Bavarian Civil Service College , of which he was appointed President in 1978.

Quack was elected judge at the Federal Supreme Court in 1982. During the entire time he was a member of this court, he was assigned to the VII Civil Senate for Building Law .

Upon reaching the age limit, Quack retired on September 30, 1999 and has since worked as a lawyer in Berlin and professor at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .
