Gebhard Kaiser

Gebhard Kaiser (born December 21, 1948 in Wiggensbach ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and was district administrator of the Oberallgäu district from March 1996 to May 2014 . His successor was Anton Klotz .

life and work

After an apprenticeship as a cheese maker in Wiggensbach, he attended the commercial school in Kempten and then completed an apprenticeship in the upper non-technical service at the Kempten tax office to become a qualified financial economist (FH) . From 1973 to 1975 Kaiser was a local councilor in his home town of Wiggensbach and then from 1975 to 1986 its mayor.

He is a Roman Catholic , married and has three daughters.

Kaiser is honorary chairman of the Swabian district association of the Bavarian Settlers Association , an honorary member of the Kempten children's aid association "Leuchtende Augen eV" and also honorary chairman of the CSU district association in Oberallgäu.

From 1986 to 1994, Gebhard Kaiser CSU - deputy in the Bavarian Parliament , where he served as housing policy spokesman for the CSU. Since 2008 he has also been the chairman of the Swabian district association and is therefore a member of the presidium of the Bavarian district council. At the same time, in 2008 he took over the office of chairman of the committee for finance and savings bank issues.
