Peter Tomaschko

Peter Tomaschko (born September 22, 1973 in Augsburg ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Career

After attending the Realschule Mering and the Fachoberschule Augsburg, Peter Tomaschko completed a degree in administrative management (FH) at the Hof University of Applied Sciences and then worked for the city of Augsburg. From 1999 to 2013, Peter Tomaschko was a full-time auditor and consultant for municipalities at the Bavarian Municipal Auditing Association and worked part-time as a lecturer at the Hof University of Applied Sciences and the Bavarian Administration School .

He has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since October 2013.

Political stations

Peter Tomaschko has been involved in politics since 1990, initially in the Junge Union and since 1992 in the CSU. Tomaschko has been a member of the Aichach-Friedberg district council since 2002 and has been chairman of the CSU parliamentary group since 2006. In 2008 he became a member of the state committee of the Bavarian District Association ; He has been the district chairman of the CSU since 2009. From 1996 to 2014 he was a member of the Merching municipal council , and from 2008 to 2014 he was the second mayor of the Merching municipality. In September 2013 Tomaschko was elected directly to the Bavarian state parliament with 52.5% in the constituency of Aichach-Friedberg . Here he is a member of the Education and Culture Committee and the Committee on Local Issues, Internal Security and Sport. He is also involved in various working groups: Defense policy, displaced persons, resettlers and partnership relations as well as the media. Tomaschko has been the chairman of the Bavarian Data Protection Commission since July 2019. He is also a member of the Council of Elders in the Bavarian State Parliament.

Volunteering

Peter Tomaschko is a versatile volunteer. He is active as chairman of the prison advisory board of the Aichach correctional facility and as district chairman of the Association of Residential Property District Schwaben eV In his home community of Merching and in the district of Aichach-Friedberg, he is a member of various associations and also active as a lecturer in the parish of St. Martin.

Private

Peter Tomaschko is married and lives with his wife Nicole and his twins in Merching.
