The HDBW - Hochschule der Bayerischen Wirtschaft is a private, state-recognized university with a focus on business and technology. The main location is Munich, there is a study center in Bamberg .

Students at HDBW complete a practice-oriented degree that provides training for careers in business. In close cooperation with Bavarian as well as international companies, the HDBW offers bachelor's and master's degrees in the fields of business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, mechanical engineering and digitization. In addition to the classic full-time study, there are part-time and dual study programs.

Study concept

The focus is on project-related practical work in small groups, the use of blended learning methods, imparting interdisciplinary horizon knowledge and job-related soft skills. It is possible to choose from three study time models in the Bachelor's - full-time, dual or part-time - and from two study time models in the Master - full-time or part-time. The practical training for the technical courses takes place in the laboratories of cooperation partners of the HDBW.
