Manfred Ländner

Manfred Ländner (born November 27, 1958 in Würzburg ) is a German politician ( CSU ), member of the council of Kürnach and since 2008 member of the state parliament for the district of Würzburg-Land ( constituency of Lower Franconia ).

Life

After graduating from high school in 1977 at the Riemenschneider-Gymnasium in Würzburg, he studied at the Bavarian Civil Service College , graduated as an administrative graduate (FH) and switched to the higher-level police service . He was also active in various voluntary functions at the German Police Union and was a member of the staff council of the Lower Franconian police headquarters .

In 1977 he became a member of the CSU, founded the local association of the Junge Union and in 1978 became a member of the municipal council of Kürnach. From 1996 to 2002 he was honorary mayor before continuing this office full-time until 2008. Since 1996 he has been a district councilor in the Würzburg district , from 2002 to 2015 he was chairman of the CSU district parliamentary group, after having held the office of deputy chairman since 1991.

In the state parliament, Ländner is the deputy chairman of the committee for municipal issues, internal security and sport .

Since 2009 he has been president of the North Bavarian Music Association . From 2006 to 2018 he was 1st chairman of the Würzburg district group of the Bavarian Hunting Association .

Private

Ländner is a Roman Catholic, married and has a daughter and a son.
