Manfred Jena

Manfred Jena (born March 7, 1948 in Thierstein ) is a former German politician ( SPD ) and judicial officer .

Jena attended the elementary school in Thierstein, the upper secondary school in Selb and Hof and reached the upper level. He then entered the judicial service and successfully passed the career test for the senior service. He then became a senior judicial officer , then released chairman of the staff council at the Munich district court .

In 1970 Jena became a member of the SPD and the ÖTV trade union , and he held various positions in both organizations. In 1982 he became a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . There he was a member of the committees for submissions and complaints and questions of the public service. As a deputy member, he was a member of a committee of inquiry that dealt with the affair surrounding the former head of the Bavarian State Security Hans Langemann affair .

After leaving parliament, he returned to the judiciary in 1986 and retired after various posts (most recently as manager at the Munich I Regional Court ) as the judicial officer.
