At the training department (formerly the state police school), police students undergo two and a half years of training for career section I ( middle service ). After passing the career test, you can start your career with the rank of police master ; After three years of probation in the police field service, access to the selection process for career section II (formerly senior service) is possible.

As part of the course, two six-month work-related study sections must be completed; only one internship is compulsory for newcomers. The course ends with the career examination II ( senior service ); Afterwards, the graduates take up their police service with the rank of police (or criminal) commissioner .
