Friedhelm Boginski (* 1955 ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and acting mayor of Eberswalde .

Career

Before his mayor's office, Boginski was head of the city ​​council and headmaster . He taught history and geography .

Boginski was elected mayor on November 19, 2006 by the citizens of the city of Eberswalde with 59.3 percent in a runoff election against Carsten Bockhardt ( CDU ), after Reinhard Schulz (independent) was voted out of office on July 16, 2006 after being convicted of infidelity and corruption had been. Boginski took up his new post on December 1, 2006. In the first ballot, Boginski received 24.3 percent of the vote and Bockhardt 23.5.
