The cemetery of the Sisters of Christian Doctrine from Nancy (lux .: Kierfecht vun der Schwëstere vun der Doctrine chrétienne ; French: Cimetiére des Sœurs de la Doctrine Chrétienne de Nancy ) is in the district of Heisdorf in the municipality of Steinsel in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

The cemetery is at the end of the park of Heisdorf Castle . Heisdorf Castle is owned by the Sisters of the Christian Doctrine of Nancy (lux .: Schwëstere vun der Doctrine chrétienne ; French: Sœurs de la Doctrine Chrétienne de Nancy , abbr .: DC), who have been running an old people's home there since the beginning of the 20th century . The cemetery, Heisdorf Castle and the park are on the main road (N7 / E421) in the Alzette Valley in the canton of Luxembourg . The cemetery borders on Rue Maria Teresa (see: Maria Theresia ) and forms the end of the park at Heisdorf Palace at the southern end.

The cemetery was laid out in 1919 for the sisters of the congregation . In 1952 and 1991 it was expanded. Over 700 nuns are buried there.

In 1980 a morgue was built in the cemetery according to plans by the architect André Haagen . This morgue is also intended to commemorate the nuns who were murdered in the Congo in 1964 .
