Friedrich-Franz-Alexandra-Cross
The Friedrich-Franz-Alexandra-Kreuz was donated on November 15, 1912 by Grand Duke Friedrich Franz IV of Mecklenburg and his wife, Grand Duchess Alexandra . It could be awarded to men and women for services at the front or rear, for example for caring for the sick and the wounded.
The sign of the order
The sign of the order is a silver cross, in the middle of which the portrait of the donors can be seen offset to the left. On the back there is an intertwined FFA , the inscription For Works of Charity and the date of the foundation.
The medal was worn on a white ribbon with gold-red side stripes. It could also be awarded with the blue ribbon of the Military Merit Cross.
