Friedrich Hebbel Foundation

The Friedrich Hebbel Foundation , based in Kiel , was founded in 1903 by the widow of the poet Friedrich Hebbel (1813–1863), Christine Hebbel b. Engehausen (1817–1910), founded. The purpose of the foundation is to support artists born or resident in northern Germany by awarding the Friedrich Hebbel Prize . The prize is endowed with 5000 euros.
