Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell Ring of Honor

The Friedrich-Ludwig-von-Sckell-Ehrenring (short Sckell-Ehrenring or Sckell-Ring ) is an award of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts named after the German garden architect Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell (1750–1823; creator of the English Garden in Munich ) "For outstanding landscape architects , garden historians and related professions". It is considered the highest award in the industry. The golden and with a stylized tree - the family crest of Sckell - studded ring has been awarded since 1967, nowadays usually every two years.
