Hinnerk Wehberg
Hinnerk Wehberg (born November 13, 1936 in Osnabrück ) is a German landscape planner and architect .
Life
1957-1962 painting Wehberg studied at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg (HfbK). In 1963 he was British Council Scolar at Hornsey College of Art in London and was a visiting lecturer there until 1970 . He settled in Hamburg as a freelance painter and sculptor in 1962 and designed numerous art-in-building projects until 1969, while from 1966 to 1969 he was a guest lecturer at the Bremen University of the Arts . In 1969 he founded the Wehberg-Lange office in Hamburg, today WES LandschaftsArchitektur. From 1975 to 1985 he was a member of the art commission of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
From 1982 to 2002 he was a professor at the Institute for Urban Development and Landscape Planning at the TU Braunschweig . Wehberg has been a member of the Free Academy of the Arts Hamburg since 1992 . In 2005 he received the Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell Ring of Honor from the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts .
His daughter Henrike Wehberg-Krafft is also a landscape planner and managing director of the WES - LandschaftsArchitektur office .
