Friedrich Arthur Uebel

Friedrich Arthur Uebel (born August 6, 1888 ; † August 31, 1963 ) was a son of the woodwind instrument maker Friedrich Gustav Uebel. As F. Arthur Uebel , he founded his own workshop in Markneukirchen , having previously learned clarinet making from Oskar Oehler in Berlin and working closely with him until his death in 1936. He took over its customer base, continued to manufacture clarinets in the Oehler system and registered the FAU trademark in the same year .
