Friedrich Claus

Friedrich Claus (born March 18, 1890 in Frankfurt am Main ; † May 16, 1962 ) was a German soccer player who, in his career as a defender, initially worked for the Frankfurter Kickers and after their merger with Victoria Frankfurt for the newly formed Frankfurt soccer team. Kickers-Victoria - the forerunner of Eintracht Frankfurt - was active. Claus won three northern district championships in a row with the FFV from 1912 to 1914, and in 1913 and 1914 they were runner-up in southern Germany.

Claus also held several board positions at Kickers and the FFV. In May 1914 he moved to Hamburg for professional reasons.

Until his death on May 16, 1962 he was honorary captain of Eintracht Frankfurt.
