Friedrich Deike

Friedrich Deike (born February 8, 1931 in Söhlde ; † November 21, 2010 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Deike first attended elementary school and later switched to secondary school in Hildesheim. After graduating from school, he completed an apprenticeship as a roofer , which was followed by his master craftsman examination. Deike had been a self-employed roofer since 1961.

Politically, he joined the SPD in 1965 and was councilor from 1968 to 1986 and mayor of the municipality of Söhlde between 1969 and 1986. In 1968 he became a member of the district council and from 1974 to 1994 he was the district administrator of the Hildesheim district .

In the 11th electoral term, Deike became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament on June 21, 1986, to which he belonged until the end of the 12th electoral term on June 20, 1994.
