Friedrich Gottlob Lehmann (born August 12, 1805 in Hainichen ; † July 3, 1869 ) was a Saxon textile manufacturer and member of the state parliament.

Life

He was the son of the cloth cutter Friedrich Wilhelm Lehmann from Hainichen. After attending school, Lehmann trained as a master draper and acquired citizenship in his hometown, where he worked as a publisher . His diary entries have been preserved from the period between 1826 and 1830 . In 1836 he built a spinning mill in neighboring Böhrigen , which he later expanded. As a representative of the 3rd constituency of trade and factories , Lehmann belonged to the second chamber of the Saxon state parliament in 1863/64 .
