Friedrich Kocher

Friedrich Kocher (born March 2, 1879 in Krakaudorf , Styria , † December 25, 1958 in Friesach ) was an Austrian politician of the Christian Social Party (CSP). Ökonomierat Friedrich Kocher was a member of the Constituent National Assembly from 1919 to 1920, the first freely elected parliament in the history of the Republic of Austria. Among other things, he helped to decide on the Austrian Federal Constitution, which is still in force today.

His great-great-grandson is the former politician Stefan Petzner (* 1981).
