Friedrich Ludolf Grave

Friedrich Ludolf Grave (born November 15, 1815 - † January 22, 1885 in Bremen ) was a Senator and Mayor of Bremen .

biography

Grave was a senator from 1857 to 1882 and from 1879 (other sources 1874) to 1882 held the office of mayor of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen , at times together with Otto Gildemeister (1879). During his tenure, u. a. negotiated the connection to the customs union in Bremen , which only took place in 1888.

Grave was married. His daughter Christiane Rassow (1862-1906) was married to the businessman Gustav Rassow . He lived in Bremen, Rembertistraße 65.

He was buried in the Riensberg cemetery (grave location U 35/36).
