Friedrich Otto (historian)

Friedrich Heinrich Otto (born March 2, 1826 in Niedermeilingen , near Bad Schwalbach , † December 27, 1902 in Wiesbaden ) was a German teacher and historian .

Life

Otto has published numerous articles and essays on the history of the city of Wiesbaden in regional and scientific journals. From 1878 to 1887 he was chairman of the Association for Nassau Antiquities and Historical Research in Wiesbaden and was made an honorary member in 1894. From 1897 he was the founding chairman of the Historical Commission for Nassau .
