Friedrich Riese
Friedrich Riese (born July 13, 1895 in Berlin , † December 30, 1966 in Weißenberg in Bavaria) was a German criminal director and SS leader.
After attending school and studying law , which he completed with a doctorate as a Dr. jur. completed, giant entered the police force.
During the Nazi era , he was a member of the SS and was promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer in 1939. In 1940 and 1941, Riese was SS-Sturmbannführer and Government Councilor head of Section VA 2 ("Prevention") of Department VA ("Criminal Policy and Prevention") within Office Group V ("Combating Crimes - Reich Criminal Police Office ") of the Reich Main Security Office (RSHA) .
From September 19, 1942 to February 1945, Riese headed the criminal police control center in Nuremberg as a senior government councilor .
In 1954 Riese retired for reasons of age.
