Friedrich Woltreck

Friedrich Woltreck (* 1804 in Zerbst ; † 1831 in Paris ) was a German painter .

Life

Woltreck initially worked as a plumber and went to Paris in 1827, where his older brother, the sculptor and sculptor Franz Woltreck , was staying. There he entered the studio of David d'Angers . In 1829 Woltreck enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts . At that time he lived at 13 rue de Fleurs. Two years later he died at the age of 27 in Paris.
